The 16U Ramblers will play at Casper Park in Chippewa Falls on July 20 and will take on Chippewa Falls at 12:30 p.m.

Rafters in All-Star break

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are on a four-day vacation before they begin the final three weeks of the regular season.

Rapids entered the All-Star Break with a win on Sunday, July 13 when they defeated Wausau. Prior to that, the Rafters were in the midst of its longest losing streak of the season, having been on a 10- game skid.

The Rafters get back to play on Friday, July 18 with a two-game home stand with Madison, then a split series with Green Bay before road games at Fond du Lac.

Major Leagues hit unofficial midway point

With the All-Star break underway, Major League Baseball action will be heating up with the post season insight.

As of now, the American League Division leaders are the Toronto Blue Jays, Detroit Tigers, and Houston Astros, while in the National League, it is the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and Los Angeles Dodgers.

The top three Wild Card teams in each league are the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Seattle Mariners in the AL, while in the NL, it is the Milwaukee Brewers, New York Mets, and San Diego Padres.

Both leagues have spirited races for several divisions and the coveted Wild Card spots.

The final day of the regular season is September 28.
