Thank you for another great year! It was a lot of fun and we heard from hundreds of hunters across the state. Thank you. We will be back next year!

This Northwoods tradition has been on the air for over 50 years! Each night of the traditional 9-day gun deer season (with the exception of Thanksgiving Day and a Packer game), we open up the phone lines for 2 hours and turn the radio station over to hunters scattered all over Wisconsin and beyond.

Unscripted, unrehearsed, and unedited, your audio journey takes you deep into the woods, and brings out stories and humor that can’t be found anywhere else.

Going on his 25th year of hosting the show, Joel Karnick leads the nightly 2-hour wooded drive with precision and expertise. Helping to kick up deer stories and humor, Gray Gunderson and “Big G” are always ready to chip in with jabs and sarcasm.

Pop open a cold one, take a big bite of that jerky stick, and settle in for the craziest and most unpredictable radio experience that the backwoods can offer.

From John Bella – Been a rough hunt this year in Fifefield. No deer to report. But did get to punch my cat tag out.
Mullet(me) and Queball(dad) from Camp Drinks Too Much, located in Presque Isle, got the freshly build Remington 308 out in the woods and got a nice 8 pointer. Saw 4 fawns,1 doe and a spike this trip. Brother in-law put in the miles on the logging roads and saw 4 does.
