Murphy is named Manager of the Year
For the second year in a row, the Milwaukee Brewers manager, Pat Murphy, was named the National League Coach of the Year.
It marks just the second time that a manager has been named C.O.Y. in back-to-back seasons in the NL since Bobby Cox in 2004, 2005.
Stephen Vogt of Cleveland was the American League C.O.Y honor for back-to-back seasons as well, being the first since Kevin Cash in Tampa Bay succeeded in 2020 and 2021.
Packers are on a two-game skid
The Green Bay Packers are in the midst of a two-game losing streak and have a chance to end the slump when they play at the New York Giants on Saturday, November 16 at noon.
The Giants have won the past two meetings in the series by a combined seven points with one of the games being played in London, England.
Green Bay holds a 34-28-2 record in the series that goes back to 1928.
