A Go Fund Me Account has been established for the Zodrow family whose 12-year-old son Emmet lost his life in an accident in Green Lake last Wednesday morning.
According to the post on Go Fund Me the family will use proceeds from the fund in several ways that Emmet would have liked.
Part of the funds will go toward raising a pitching mound at Murray Park in Ripon. A garden and reflection area will be established at Castecker Public Library in Green Lake. Necessary baseball field upgrades will be made in memory of Emmet. A scholarship account will also be established for a cause dear to Emmet’s heart for the Angler and Young Angler Club.
The fundraising goal is $45,000.
For those who would prefer not to donate online the Green Lake Chamber of Commerce is also accepting donations on behalf of Emmet’s family. They can be dropped off or mailed to: Green Lake Chamber of Commerce at 550 Mill Street, PO Box 337, Green Lake, WI 54941.
