
Racine to Host 1st Congressional District Democrats Convention
RACINE, Wis. – (Civic Media) – First Congressional District Democrats will gather in Racine on Saturday, May 3, for their annual 1st Congressional District convention, hosted at Infusino’s Banquet Hall.
The event will feature CD1 elections, county reports, and a review of the party platform and resolutions.
State Sen. Bob Wirch and Racine Mayor Cory Mason are slated to address the convention. Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler will appear via video. State Assembly Reps. Brienne Brown, Tip McGuire, Ben DeSmidt, and Greta Neubauer are also scheduled to speak.
People going will have the opportunity to hear from candidates for the Wisconsin Democratic Party chair, with those elections planned for June.
The convention is organized by the Democratic Party of Racine County.
