Packers seek nominations for 27th FAN Hall of Fame honoree

GREEN BAY, WI- (WGBW) – The Green Bay Packers have begun their annual search for the next honoree for the Packers FAN Hall of Fame. Fans can nominate themselves, friends, or relatives with a 500-word essay.

The essay should describe the nominee’s merits and be accompanied by a photo. The nomination deadline is Saturday, November 30th.

This will be the 27th Packer FAN Hall of Fame honoree. The Green Bay Packers were the first professional football team to have a hall of fame, which they expanded in 1998 by adding the FAN Hall of Fame to honor devout and longtime Packers fans.

The nomination and voting process will occur entirely online through the Packers website at www.packers.com/FHOF. 

Fans without internet access can mail their nomination essays, along with their contact information, to the Packers’ Milwaukee office address:

For those mailing applications, a copy of the original photo should be submitted in case of damage or loss.

How the winner is chosen

The 10 finalists who best represent the Packers’ spirit will be chosen in December by the Packers FAN Hall of Fame selection committee. The final round of voting will be from Jan. 1 through Jan. 31, 2025.

During the voting process, Packers fans will be asked to vote for one of the 10 finalists, whose stories will be profiled on packers.com. Packers fans and the Packers’ selection committee will select the winner.

The winner will be announced in late February 2025. The winner will receive four club seats to a 2025 Packers home game, four pre-game sideline passes, four passes to the Packers Hall of Fame, a custom Packers jersey, a $500 Packers Pro Shop gift certificate, and a one-year subscription to PackersNews.com.

The honoree’s name will also be added to the list of FAN Hall of Fame honorees recognized in the Packers Hall of Fame.
