RACINE, Wis. (WRJN) — The Racine Public Library’s Bookmobile will kick off its 2024-2025 school year schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 3, with minor changes from last year.
The mobile library will now stop at Goodland Montessori School on Mondays from 1-2 p.m. Additionally, starting Sept. 11, the Wednesday 2-3 p.m. stop will alternate weekly between EverGreen Academy’s elementary and middle school campuses.
The Bookmobile will maintain its regular schedule of 18 weekly stops across Racine County, including locations at shopping centers, schools, and community gathering spots. Hours range from early morning to evening.
Stops include the Greentree Shopping Centre on Mondays, Roma Lodge on Tuesdays, and the Shorecrest Shopping Center on Thursdays. The mobile library also visits several schools throughout the week.
Library officials encourage residents to check the full schedule for specific times and locations, as some stops are only available on alternating weeks.
The Bookmobile aims to increase access to library resources for Racine County residents who may have difficulty visiting the main library branch.
