The bills, which are very similar to legislation vetoed by Gov. Evers in his first term, are expected to pass the Senate Wednesday.
One of the measures includes doubling the length of licensure for certain professions, such as health care workers.
The Republican-led measures would seek to prevent any future bans on gas-powered engines.
